The dark moody accent color mixed with the gorgeous stone was such a breathtaking combination. The builder told me that the dark moody exterior color was a custom mix that they mixed on site. When I pulled up to the house for the first time, I thought for sure it was Sherwin Williams Porpoise. The 2022 Utah Valley Parade of Homes pushed designers and builders to explore their creative limits—and what better way to go full-tint than with bold, in-your-face wallpaper? Highly saturated tones and hypnotic patterns made their way into several spaces from reading nooks to mudrooms to bedrooms in this year’s Parade of Homes. The period of significance is 1955, which is the year the original 17 houses were constructed by local builders and architects as part of Site No. 1 or the Lakewood site of the 1955 Parade of Homes.

Utah offers several events of this kind throughout a year. St George area hosts the most visited Parade of Homes every February showcasing the most outstanding house samples in Southern Utah. Another well-known spot is Utah Valley which invites all for its Parade of Homes in the month of June.

You acknowledge and agree that under some circumstances, including but not limited to, incomplete construction of the home, safety issues, etc., entry to a home may be denied. You agree to be respectful of all personal property of each Parade Builder. Due to the unusual nature of the originality of each home you agree to comply with all specific, additional regulations and requirements imposed by the Builder or host when visiting any Parade home. This event has a long-standing tradition of displaying a variety of spectacular homes and introducing exciting new trends to attendees in the Northern Wasatch Utah area.

The homes are set among breathtaking landscapes only found in Southern Utah. The best of the best in home design, building and products. The exterior was so pretty and I really LOVED the stunning modern oak garage doors. Interesting that I noticed a lot of black cabinetry, doors and trim in several of the homes including all the interior doors in the Regent home.

The Parade of Homes television program elevates and expands that tradition. When you purchase your ticket you will receive the magazine which contains the map/home addresses. If you purchase your ticket on-line, you will be instructed how to obtain the map/addresses. Bring the e-ticket to any Parade home and you will receive a magazine and ticket lanyard.

I was surprised just how much I loved the basement family room in the Regent home. I fell in love with the mix of stone and dark cabinetry, which is painted with Farrow and Ball Studio Green. This room was so pretty for a basement family room. There were so many little details that I picked up on in this kitchen that my brain was in overload!
He has over 14 years of new home construction in the most prestigious locations of St. George.
